As the ratio of students increases, additional faculty is provided. We have a wealth of wonderful teachers who have trained here at the school and who assist rotationally over the years.
This includes teachers such as:
Jeannette Payne, Sandra Cushman, Katharine Birdsal, Brad Stoller, Karen Loving, Rahimah Von Briesen, Matt Dubroff, Katharine Scott-Gillum, Sara O’Hare, Eliot Singer and others.
Visiting Teachers:
We also enjoy bringing teachers into the area for trainees to study with who have special areas of expertise to which they apply the Alexander Technique, such as, Stephen Shaw with Swimming, Jessica Wolfe with Breathing, Ted Dimon on anatomy of postural reflexes, Daniel Singer on the Philosophical implications of the technique, Judy Stern on use for injured students and an approach to working with pain, Malcolm Balk on running and others.
